Ibuprofen, acetaminophen and aspirin
are all toxic to your pets!
My dog Jasmine just ingested 12.5 mg of Motrin(ibuprofen) this past weekend and didn't show any signs of problems until 2 days later when she was throwing up large amounts of blood. These medicines can cause stomach ulcers, kidney failure and death to your pets. Please do not give any over the counter meds to your pets! Jasmine now has stomach ulcers, but the veterinarian thinks the kidney damage is minimal since it is a small amount. She would have died if she had eaten the entire tablet or Motrin.
